We are a small editorial team that studies how startups actually spend, earn and raise money, then explains it clearly. Nothing on this site is sold.
felixhui began as a set of internal notes kept by a small group of operators and early-stage advisors based in Košice, Slovakia, who kept re-explaining the same handful of financial concepts to founders they worked with. Eventually those notes turned into structured explainers, and we decided the material was more useful published openly than kept private.
Today, Startup Economic is maintained as a standalone, informational publication. We are not an accountancy, investment firm or consultancy, and we do not sell services, courses or memberships through this website.
We would rather publish an explainer two weeks late than publish one that hasn't been checked against reliable sources.
We do not accept payment to feature a company favourably, and this site does not sell any product or service.
Every explainer is written so a first-time founder and an experienced operator can both take something useful from it.
To keep expectations clear: felixhui does not provide paid consulting, coaching, legal advice, investment advice or financial advice. Content on this site is general and informational, and should not be treated as a substitute for professional advice specific to your situation. We do not process payments, sell subscriptions, or offer any commercial service through this website.
Reach out with questions about our editorial process, sourcing, or a correction to an existing explainer.
